My Story

My journey in the culinary world has generally been to make celebrations memorable… provide beautiful desserts that taste as good as they look! In my kitchen at home, I love to cook and bake. I started a family tradition of making a three course winter holiday feast, accommodating three different diets, and as always proud of my accomplishment.

When I found out I was pregnant, I tried to limit my sweets intake (as much as work would allow me!) and focused on eating a healthier savory diet. My goal was to remain active and keep my husband and I as healthy as we could be so that we could adequately care for our child.

Our son was born in the summer of 2019, and as he got older, we were told to start introducing new foods. For a first time mother, this was very intimidating. It was the greatest challenge I had faced in my culinary exploits since this cute, little being was relying on me to nourish him.

I scoured the internet for guidance and found recipes here and there. There was no comprehensive page that allowed me access without a fee, so I started keeping track of our journey. I do not have a background in nutrition, pediatric or otherwise. I am just a mother who wanted information and gathered what worked for us. This is still very much a work in progress, as he is only a year old.
